Dartford 4 Weston-super-Mare 1

Charlie Sheringham, son of Manchester United legend Teddy, is on Gillingham boss Mark Stimson's radar

Charlie Sheringham scored twice as Dartford continued to find their feet in Blue Square Bet South with a 4-1 win over Weston-super-Mare at Princes Park on Saturday.

Sheringham (pictured) slotted home from the spot moments before half-time after James White was pulled down in the area, but the visitors levelled at the start of the second half after some slack defending from Tony Burman's side.

White put the Darts ahead just before the hour with a sublime curling shot with his left-foot and it was 3-1 just seven minutes later when a Ryan Hayes free-kick was deflected into his own net by a Weston defender.

The impressive Hayes also provided the fourth, crossing from the right for Sheringham to head home inside the last 20 minutes.

What is your reaction to Dartford's victory . Have your say below.
