Dartford 0 Hampton & Richmond 4

Dartford's quest to make it eight matches unbeaten in Blue
Square Bet South was undone as they were blown away 4-0 by Hampton
& Richmond Borough at Princes Park on Saturday afternoon.
A weary-looking Darts were guilty of a lack of urgency in
the first half, despite Carl Rook (pictured) going close early on,
firing just over on the turn after Lee Noble had nodded down a
cross from Danny Harris.
Hampton took the lead when the hosts failed to deal with a
corner from the right on 24 minutes and centre-half Dean Wells
toe-poked into the corner from 12 yards through a forest of
legs.
Ian Hodges added a second six minutes before the break when he
got onto the end of a long ball forward and slotted past Deren
Ibrahim.
The third arrived within a minute of the second half starting
when Nathan Collier's cross was controlled by Lawrence Yaku who
spun and fired low past Ibrahim.
Harris saw a header from a Noble corner easily held and it was
4-0 on 50 minutes when Dartford went to sleep and Yaku headed in
unmarked at the back post.
Francis Quarm hit the post as Borough sought a fifth but the
hosts could not find a way back, though they remain 15th.
