Super League London Broncos announce a return to Gillingham's Priestfield Stadium for match against Warrington Wolves

The London Broncos will be returning to Gillingham next
year.
Gillingham Football Club’s Priestfield Stadium will play host to
the Super League side on Saturday, June 8.
The Broncos are based at Twickenham’s Stoop but enjoyed a
one-off trip to Priestfield last summer, for their match against
Hull FC.
This time their opponents in Kent will be Super League Grand
Finalists Warrington Wolves.
Gills chairman Paul Scally said: “I am delighted that we are
able to welcome the London Broncos back to Priestfield next summer.
It will be a great sporting occasion and I hope that as many Kent
Rugby fans as possible will turn out to support them.”
Medway have a growing rugby league fan-base, helped largely by
the success of the Medway Dragons, who are based at The Garrison
Stadium in Gillingham.
Broncos are keen for the ‘on the road’ matches to raise the
sport and club’s profile and their chief executive Gus Mackay said:
“We are pleased to be taking the game back to Gillingham to build
on last season’s on the road game at the Priestfield stadium.”
The game against Hull FC, in May, attracted a crowd of
3,930 – one of the London club’s best of the season.
Mackay added: “We hope that this year’s game will attract an
even bigger attendance and that we attract further supporters from
Kent.”
