Tonbridge 3 Weston 0

Frannie Collin made it 21 league goals for the Blue Square Bet
South season with yet another double as Tonbridge Angels beat
Weston-super-Mare 3-0 at Longmead on Saturday.
The Angels hit-man followed up his four-goal salvo in their last
league game on January 21 with a second-half double, while Jon Main
came off the bench to grab a late third.
After a forgettable first-half performance, Angels showed their
class after the interval, though Marcus Duharty spurned the chance
to put the visitors ahead against the run of play.
Collin (pictured) eventually opened the scoring shortly before
the hour when he unleashed a 35-yard free-kick which keeper Lloyd
Irish was unable to prevent squirming over the line.
Nabi Diallo missed a chance to register an instant reply and it
was Collin who grabbed the decisive second goal on 69 minutes after
a fine team-move from Tommy Warrilow’s side.
Rory Hill started the flowing move with a nice spin on the
half-way line and found Chris Piper who strode forward before
feeding Collin, who created a yard and smashed a finished across
the face of Irish’s goal and into the corner.
The visitors were let down again by some sloppy finishing and
Angels put the gloss on the win with a stoppage-time spot-kick from
Main after Sonny Miles was brought down in the box.
The victory took Angels up to 11th and kept alive their faint
hopes of a late run at the play-off places.

this season? Have your say below.
