Gillingham boss Martin Allen knows his team will face another tough test as Exeter City head for Priestfield

Manager Martin Allen believes
it is up to his players to counter the opposition teams who are
turning it on against his League 2 pacesetters.
The Gills boss fully expects
Exeter to follow the example of Plymouth and Morecambe, who have
both raised their game against his side, when they head to
Priestfield on Tuesday night.
"They are always going to
raise their game and everyone knows how difficult it is going to
be," said Allen (pictured).
"But it is up to us to raise
our game. I have never been top and it’s new for me. We have to get
used to it.
"We have to play well and I
will make a lot more changes again to freshen it up."
Exeter head to Priestfield
sitting just outside the play-off places following an impressive
1-0 win at Bradford on Saturday.
The likes of Charlie Lee,
Charlie Allen, Myles Weston and Deon Burton will come into
contention for a start against Exeter.
The Gills could also be
backed by a sizeable crowd with adult tickets slashed to just £10
and under-16s at £5.
