Division 1 South but their lead was cut to four points after
Saturday’s 2-2 draw with Folkestone Invicta.
Graeme Andrews and Tom Mills were on target for the Stones at
Cheriton Road but Johan Ter Horst’s double earned the hosts a 2-2
draw.
Victory for Dulwich Hamlet over Merstham means they are four
points behind Maidstone with three games in hand.
Faversham Town remain fourth despite being held
to a 0-0 draw by Corinthian Casuals at Salters Lane.
Joe Taylor’s 77th-minute penalty earned
Sittingbourne the derby spoils as they beat Kent
rivals Hythe Town 1-0 at Bourne Park.
Ramsgate are seventh, two points outside the
play-offs, after Ben Laslett scored 10 minutes from time to clinch
a 1-0 win away to Eastbourne Town.
Meanwhile, Herne Bay crashed to a fourth
straight league defeat at Winch’s Field. Lowly Walton Casuals were
3-0 up at half-time and they added a fourth goal after the
interval.
Whitstable Town won on the road for the first
time since October. Buster Smissen and substitute William Parkinson
fired them to a 2-1 win at Walton & Hersham.
In Ryman League, Division 1 North, Thamesmead
Town are third after their seventh consecutive league win.
Rob Carter, Baff Addae and Lea Dawson were all on target as the
Mead won 3-0 at Cheshunt.
At Maidstone Road, Chatham Town held
sixth-placed Soham Town Rangers to a goalless draw.
Alex Rhodes scored twice as Margate beat
Premier Division leaders Whitehawk 2-1 at Hartsdown Park.
The visitors led through Michael Malcolm but Rhodes struck twice
in four second-half minutes to earn the Gate three points.
Elsewhere in the division, Cray Wanderers
conceded nine goals for the first time since 1966 as their
miserable run of form continued.
They trailed Kingstonian 4-0 by the time Danny Phillips and

for the Wands but Kingstonian ran out 9-3 winners and Cray are now
