Martin Allen prepared to shake up his Gillingham side for top-of-table clash with Port Vale
By Luke Cawdell
Gillingham boss Martin Allen is ready to shake his team up again
despite claiming back-to-back wins.
New signing Steven Gregory will be vying for a starting role
against Port Vale on Saturday along with leading scorer Danny
But both must force their way into a team that have won their
last two matches on the road, beating Southend (1-0) and Bristol
Despite the success, Allen said: "This is a different game at
home to Port Vale to those away games. We have to look at ways of
how we are going to beat them and almost certainly there will be
changes to the team that beat Bristol Rovers.
"I have no injuries. Everyone is fit, some people have been
rested for a couple of weeks because they needed a break and some
have looked good in training. It is a great position to be in
because I have so many good players."
Gillingham face a Vale side who sit one place below them in
League 2, as they have done for much of the season.
Allen knows they have plenty of threats, not just from leading
scorer Tom Pope and new-boy Lee Hughes.
He said: "It is not just those centre forwards, the right winger
Myrie-Williams is dangerous and the left winger Kelvin Andrew
played well at Dagenham and they have Louis Dodds."

Port Vale game? Have yor say below.
