Gillingham's Myles Weston hoping home run will see a return to winning ways at Priestfield

By Luke Cawdell
Myles Weston is determined to see the Gills reignite their title
challenge this weekend as they face the first of three successive
home fixtures.
York head to Priestfield on Saturday and that visit will be
followed by the arrival of Northampton on Tuesday night and then
Wycombe the following Monday, in a match televised live on Sky
Sports.
Gillingham’s last outing was at Priestfield, when they lost to
2-1 to new leaders Port Vale and the striker (pictured) believes
it’s time to put a few things straight.
He said: "We want to get back to winning ways and make things
right, especially at home, and it would be a good game to correct a
few things.
"Port Vale caught us (at the top of the league) but with a game
in hand, we will get back on top. Hopefully, we can give the fans a
good game to watch and get the win. We need to keep on winning to
put pressure on Port Vale, just like they did to us.
"Hopefully, we can get back to winning ways and then take that
confidence into Tuesday. We could get three home wins, that’s nine
points and we are back to the top of the league and with a little
gap as well."
Gillingham’s home results have dipped of late, with Allen’s men
picking up just one point from their last four outings but home or
away – it’s of little concern to six-goal Weston.
He said: "I want to win every game, whether it’s home or away.
We need to get back on track."

games? Have your say below.
