Striker Deon Burton hopes Gillingham can can bounce back with a victory at Aldershot

Striker Deon Burton hopes to silence the boo-boys this weekend
as Gillingham take to the road again.
The Gills left the field to jeers at Priestfield on Tuesday
night after slipping to a sixth home defeat of the season in League
2.
But 11-goal striker Burton (pictured) is determined to put the
wrongs right at Aldershot on Saturday
"The boys were disappointed and we all know we can do better,"
said the former Jamaica international.
"We don’t become bad players overnight and have got to where we
are by being a unit and sticking together. We will carry on doing
that.
"We still have 12 games to go, are still top and these things
happen. It is the way you bounce back."
The Gills have won 11 games away from home this season and face
an Aldershot side – recently under new management – who are
unbeaten in four as they look to pull away from the League 2 drop
zone.
"Everyone knows they can do a bit better. We did a bit better in
the second half and unfortunately let the goal in at the end but we
live to fight another day," said 36-year-old Burton.
"We are still top and the games are disappearing."
