Gillingham’s on-loan winger
Ryan Williams has been recalled by his parent club
Fulham.
The 19-year-old Australian
was signed by the Gills on loan in the middle of February on a
short-term deal.
He
came to Priestfield looking for football, having not managed to
force his way into the first team with Premier League
Fulham.
But it proved to be a
frustrating time at the Gills, as his only action was in a
development game against Dagenham & Redbridge.
He has been on the bench for
the Gills in their last four games, along with fellow loanee
Michael Richardson, but was not required.
Richardson, on loan from Newcastle, is also awaiting his
first Gills appearance.
