Ebbsfleet United hoping Charlton Athletic supporters watch their FA Cup tie against Dartford at Stonebridge Road
A favourable Football League fixture list is likely to boost an already bumper crowd for Saturday’s FA Cup derby between Ebbsfleet and Dartford.
Gillingham and Millwall are both playing away, while Charlton’s home game against Wigan in the Championship has been switched to Sunday because of the Latics’ Europa League commitments.
There were 2,242 inside Stonebridge Road when the sides last met, on New Year’s Day, but that figure could easily be surpassed for the cup tie.
Fleet vice-chairman Peter Varney (pictured) said: "It’s going to be a big crowd and that means a big atmosphere. I’m hoping for upwards of 2,000.
"The game’s got a bit of coverage and the boys (manager Steve Brown and assistant Steve Gritt) have such a big connection with Charlton, so hopefully some Charlton fans come along.
"This is going to be good. Having spent so much money on the ground, to see lots of people in it, it’s what we wanted."
The game is not all-ticket, so fans can pay on the day.
Tickets are priced at £10 for adults, £8 for concessions and £5 for 12 to 15-year-olds. Under-12s will get in free if accompanied by a paying adult.
