General terms and
conditions for competition appearing in What's
On Issue 992 (25.01.2013)
In these terms and conditions:
"Promotion" means the ‘New Year, New You’ competition; "we", "us"
and "our" mean Shop Direct Group, Skyways House, Speke Road, Speke,
Liverpool L70 1AB (Promoter).
- 1. The Promotion is administered by The KM Group on behalf
of the Promoter.
- 2. Winners must provide their age and clothing
measurements to Cow PR on 020 7234 9150 quoting ‘Isme New Year, New
You competition’.
- 3. Return train travel to London will be provided for
arrival on 6th February 2013.
- 4. An overnight hotel stay in a central London hotel will
be provided which is non-transferable.
- 5. A selection of clothes with a max value of £200 from
isme.com will be provided as part of the prize and is
non-transferable.
- 6. Entrants and their guests agree to be photographed for
a ‘before and after’ feature to be published in the publication the
competition appeared in and in additional publications for PR
purposes.
- 7. Entrants and their guests agree to be interviewed for a
‘before and after’ feature to be published in the publication the
competition appeared in and in additional publications for PR
purposes.
- 8. Entrants are responsible for making their own way to
London on time (6th February 2013).
- 9. All prizes are subject to availability,
non-transferable, non-redeemable, must be accepted as offered and
cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. No cash
alternative will be given. Arrangements for the fulfilment of
prizes will be made by us. We reserve the right in our sole
discretion to substitute any and all prizes with prizes of
comparable value. No changes can be made to the prize by the
winner. All prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the
manufacturer or supplier.
- 10. Winners agree that Shop Direct Group, Skyways House,
Speke Road, Speke, Liverpool L70 1AB, its subsidiaries, affiliates,
related companies and employees, and any other sponsors,
advertisers and promotional agencies shall have no liability,
except and to the extent that it is not permissible by law to
exclude liability (such as liability for death or personal injury
arising from negligence or breach of contract), in connection with
the acceptance or use of any of the prizes awarded.
- 11. The Promotion is not open to employees of Shop Direct
Group, Skyways House, Speke Road, Speke, Liverpool L70 1AB and
their immediate families, or affiliated companies and subsidiaries
and their immediate families, their advertising and promotional
agencies, any and all sponsors of or the immediate family members
of those people or any other person professionally connected with
the Promotion.
- 12. By participating in the Promotion entrants agree to be
bound by these rules (which may be amended or varied at any time by
us).
- 13. The Promotion and these Terms and Conditions are
governed by English law and each entrant hereby irrecoverably
submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
