| Kentish Express staff moved
to Express House, Ashford in December 1997. The office
was officially opened on February 13, 1998 by Then Kent Messenger
Group chairman Edwin Boorman who was also High Sheriff
of Kent at that time.

Directions by Road

From the
M20
Exit the M20 at Junction 9.
Exit roundabout into Fougeres
Way.
At next roundabout take 2nd
exit (Maidstone Road) following signs for the town centre.
Carry
straight on at the traffic lights (passing car dealers
on left).

Travel straight over
next roundabout and proceed into the right hand lane (passing
Lidl Supermarket on right).
After the traffic
lights the road opens up into 5 lanes, move
over to the right hand lane. Continue
through another set of traffic lights following road around
to the right. At the next set
of traffic lights turn right into Park Street passing several
bus stops on the left.
Follow this road until you see the
KM sign on Express House on the left.
There are traffic lights outside the
office and the entranceway is under a pedestrianised arch.
You will be unable to park outside
the office so carry on a few yards to a multi-storey car park
on the left.
From the M2
Turn off at Junctions 6. Follow A251 straight
to Ashford going straight over the roundabout nr Challock
and through Boughton Aluph. At the first set of traffic lights
go straight across, at the second turn right. You will then
be on the A28 Canterbury Road. Follow this road around to
the left, you will then join the main ring road. You should
see Express House directly in front of you.
You will be unable to park outside the office
so carry on a few yards to a multi-storey car park on the
left.
Directions by Rail
Ashford is also an International Passenger
Station and is a major European rail gateway with an exciting
range of destinations. Eurostar services leave for Lille,
Paris or Brussels, and overnight trains serve Rotterdam, Amsterdam,
Cologne, the Rhineland and Frankfurt. The journey from Ashford
International to Paris or Brussels takes around 2 hours.
