The current Kent Messenger office in Dover was opened in July 2005. It's a three-storey building in Dover High Street.

This is not the first time the KM has had a presence in the town, in the 1960s and 70s there was a Kent Messenger office in nearby Castle Street.

Directions by Road

Road Map

Dover is at the end of two major trunk roads, the A2 and the A20.

From the A2

For getting to the Dover office, follow either road to the roundabout in Townwall Street (next to the huge De Bradelei Wharf shopping centre), then turn right if coming on the A2 or turn left if using the A20. Follow this road for another few hundred yards to another roundabout, go straight over and bear left, to reach Dover High Street. Number 25 is a couple of hundred yards along on the left.

There is plenty of town centre parking in Dover, but nearest long-term parking is in the Charlton Centre multi-storey car park, which you reach by turning right into Wood Street from Dover High Street, immediately before the Dover office on the left.

Directions by Rail

The nearest train station is Dover Priory. Turn left out of the station then take another left - Effingham Crescent - immediately before a petrol station. Follow this to the end, as it swings right. Turn left, and 25 Dover High Street is a couple of hundred yards along on the left.

Directions by Bus

Stagecoach runs services to Dover from all over East Kent, including Folkestone, Canterbury, Ashford and Thanet. Dover bus station is in Pencester Road. For reaching the Dover office turn left out of the bus station, then at the end turn right into Biggin Street. At Dover Town Hall this becomes Dover High Street and number 25 is about 150 yards along on the left.
