The humble location of a tiny office on the top floor of a bathroom accessories shop in Tontine Street marked Folkestone Extra's arrival in town in early 1984. Business grew, and a move to first floor premises in Sandgate Road followed. The launch of the Folkestone Kentish Express three years ago saw an explosion of increased activity, and the search for a new office suite was launched. In mid July new offices at 93-95 Sandgate Road were opened, heralding the incredible growth of Folkestone Extra and the Folkestone Kentish Express.

Directions by Road

Leave the M20 at junction 13 and head towards Folkestone down Cherry Garden Avenue. At the traffic lights, turn left into Cheriton Road. At the first roundabout you come to, turn right over the two zebra crossings. At the second roundabout, go straight over past the civic centre and magistrates court heading for The Leas on Castle Hill Avenue. At the thrid roundabout, go straight over again. At the fourth roundabout, turn left into Sandgate Road. Follow the road until it narrows into a one-way stretch. As from July 19, we will be at 95 Sandgate Road between the Woolwich and Kodak Express. The office is on the right hand side of the road as you go into the one-way system and there is parking on either side of the road for an hour.

Directions by Rail

The closest station is Folkestone Central on the Ramsgate/Dover Priory to Charing Cross/Cannon Street line. As you come out of the station and turn right, you are on Castle Hill Avenue. Cross the road at the first roundabout you come to which has Wyevale garden centre on the corner. Go up Castle Hill Avenue past the civic centre and magistrayes court heading for The Leas. Cross again at the second roundabout. At the third roundabout, turn left into Sandgate Road. Continue to walk towards the town centre until it narrows into a one-way stretch.As from July 19, we will be at 95 Sandgate Road between the Woolwich and Kodak Express. The office is on the right hand side of the road as you go into the one-way system.

Directions by Bus

The nearest stop is Folkestone bus station which is the main beginning and end destination for the town's Stagecoach bus service and also a thoroughfare for the National Express service for visitors from further afield.
From the bus station, walk down West Terrace with Debenhams on the left hand side and then turn right into Sandgate Road. The office is at 95 Sandgate Road, between the Woolwich and Kodak Express.
