Directions by Road
By road to the nearest car park
From A2 turn off at "Gravesend" sign (nb
- not "Gravesend East", "Gravesend West" etc) and follow signs
along Wrotham Road into town centre. Join the one way system.
There is only one section going down hill: this is your best
director. At foot of Bath Street (views of river ahead as
you descend hill) turn right at roundabout into West Street
(flanked by flats on left, church set back on right): IGNORE
CAR PARK ON RIGHT! Cross new speed hump and crossing, pass
Town Pier and Three Daws pub (left) and High Street (right),
and take next right into surface car parks area (pay & display).
Park car and identify new Medical Centre facing car parks.
Walk alongside it (Bank Street) into High Street. Turn right.
Office is 40 yds down the hill on right.

Station (six minutes)
From the London-bound
platform:
Cross bridge to Rochester platform.
From Rochester-bound
platform:
Leave station at this point, to bus stops by entrance (Clive
Road). Cross at pedestrian crossing on right and walk through
Anglesey Centre shopping precinct to New Road pedestrianised
road. Turn right. Walk staright ahead past traffic control
gates, and cross road junction. At Woolworths store, turn
left into High Street (narrow road belies its name). Walk
down hill towards the Town Pier. Office is at bottom of hill
on right before the main road.

On foot from Transport
Interchange (six minutes)
From bus platforms walk back to interchange
entrance, and turn right into pedestrian precinct (New Road).
Keep walking to straight ahead to Woolworths store, turn left
into High Street (narrow road belies its name). Walk down
hill towards the Town Pier. Office is at bottom of hill on
right before the main road.

Directions by Ferry
From Tilbury Ferry (one minute)
Following direction signs from the ferry
to West Street. Turn left, use pedestrian crossing, and continue
along West Street for approximately 150 yards. Turn into High
Street (on right) and Gravesend messenger office is 30 yards
up on the left.
