Maidstone KM Extra	About the KM

Maidstone Extra is the leading free weekly newspaper in the area. More than 51,000 copies a week are distributed in an area which centres on Maidstone but extends from Staplehurst and Marden in the south, West Malling in the east and Snodland and Aylesford in the north. The title covers 76 per cent of households in the area and each issue is read by an average of 83,300 people, according to the JICREG survey of May 2001. It was launched in the mid 1980s and succeeded the Maidstone Times.
