Kent business event a huge success
More than 4,000 people
flocked to Kent 2020 Vision, making it a
record-breaking year for the annual business conference and
exhibition sponsored by KM Group.
Held at Kent Showground, Detling on Thursday, April
22, Kent 2020 Vision is the largest business exhibition of its type
in the South East and exceeded expectations from organisers.
KM Group was Media Sponsor for the show, which featured over 350
exhibitors and top speakers such as Lord Alan Sugar's right-hand
man Nick Hewer, James Caan from Dragons' Den, Fame Academy's David
Grant and Jo Salter, the UK's first female fast jet pilot.
Graham Mead, Managing Director of KM Group, publisher of
Kent Business, said “We are proud to play an active role in the
success of the Kent 2020 event. As a multimedia company dedicated
not only to our audience but to the Kent business community, events
such as this enable us to play an active role in the county’s
economic future as well as our own.”
Attracting the very best of Kent business professionals, the
Chief Executive of organisers Business Support Kent, Bob Jones,
said the fifth annual show was the best yet.
Last year, KM Group and Kent County Council launched the Kent
Excellence in Business Awards. This year 150 businesses have
submitted entries, 20% more than last year. The event takes
place at Chatham Historic Dockyard on July 1.
