Celebrating 10 years of fundraising for
Kent
KM
Charity Team (formerly the Kent and Medway Walking Bus Group)
is celebrating its 10th anniversary with the introduction of a new
challenge initiative.
Businesses are being urged to take the Ten Challenge and support 10
of the charity’s activities during 2010. Organisations completing
the challenge will be thanked with a special award at the climax of
our birthday year.
Community and Charity Projects Manager Simon
Dolby is urging businesses to pledge their support to help the
charity develop its health and wellbeing services in schools.
Simon said: “We have a fantastic list of fun
and worthwhile activities and events that your staff will want to
take part in or PR opportunities through sponsoring special
anniversary events. Please help us to survive and thrive as a
charity in this difficult recession by signing up to our Ten
Challenge.”
The team will also be holding special
commemorative events throughout 2010. Including a sponsored family
walk.
