Donald Trump’s exports on tariffs have prompted steel manufacturers in Kent to warn their businesses could be at risk. The President’s decision means the UK will face tariffs of 25% on exports of steel, in an move to protect US jobs from foreign competition. This has created uncertainty for Kent exporters of both steel and aluminium.
Medway Council have introduced new parking permits after residents expressed their anger over changes to the existing scheme. The changed permits mean that visitors to Medway would pay up to £700 a year extra.
