Charity centre in Chatham fighting loneliness for the elderly could shut down

A charity centre in Chatham that fights loneliness for the elderly might be closing. Medway Council is planning to withdraw the £35,000 annual fund for the Royal Voluntary Service meaning the centre would be unable to continue their service. The Head of the Centre's committee Barbara Taylor and Teresa Murray from the Medway Labour Group who is campaigning to keep the centre open joined us in the studio.
