Organised by the KM’s charity department the abseil is being staged at Miller House in Maidstone town centre on Sunday, March 15.

Day Smith and Hunter (DSH) is a key partner of the event and several brave members of its staff will be taking the plunge on the day.

Julian Glover of DSH said: “We are delighted to be supporting the KM charity abseil again this year. As well as our sponsorship, we are also sending three plucky volunteers to take part in the descent and wish all the participants the best of luck!”

The event is now sold out but thrill seekers can sign up for another challenge in Maidstone this year: the KM Dragon Boat Race.

Dominic Comins of the KM Charity Team said: “The abseil tickets went in record time and we’re still getting enquiries!

“If you missed out don’t forget you can race the dragon with us on Sunday, July 5 at Mote Park. It’s a real adrenaline pumping event and you can raise lots of money for your favourite charity.”
