And a handful of tables are still available for teams of up to eight to take part in the highlight of the quiz calendar at The Stour Centre, Ashford on Friday, October 16.

Organisers hope the special event will raise a record amount of cash for beneficiaries Guide Dogs for the Blind, Kent Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre and road safety services for children.

Barclays bank will match the charity pot to double funds raised from raffle tickets and the charity bar supplied by Shepherd Neame. Other businesses supporting the event include HR GO, Hallett and Co, Specsavers and Hornby Visitor Centre.

Entry price includes complimentary glass of wine or soft drink, ploughman’s meal and entry into a P&O Ferries prize draw for every quiz-goer.

Dominic Comins of the KM Charity Team, which is organising the event, said: “Book a table now before they’re all snapped up. The Big Quiz is always a top night out for fun, banter and prizes but you really don’t want to miss this landmark event.”

Visit www.kmbigquiz.co.uk to book a team of up to eight people for £65. Enter the code ABQEB15 to receive a £10 discount and bottle of wine for the table.
