Organisers of the wine and wisdom style evening are calling for questions for the Readers’ Round. The best suggestions will be used at a future Big Quiz event and could win a prize.

Simon Dolby, question master for the Big Quiz, said: “We challenge you to dream up a question that is suitably tricky but not impossible to answer.”

The KM Big Quiz will be staged on Friday, March 11 at the St George Hotel, Chatham and tickets are going fast.

Quiz-goers will receive a drink on arrival and entry into a prize draw to win a P&O Ferries voucher plus a bottle of wine and snacks for the team table.

A bumper raffle includes donations from Hornby and one quizzer will be invited to answer an on the spot quiz question to win a pair of Eurostar tickets.

Proceeds from the event, including sales from the Shepherd Neame charity bar, will go to Medway Youth Trust and children’s road safety services.

The KM Big Quiz is organised by the KM Charity Team with support from Specsavers and Barclays and a table for up to eight costs £65. Book at www.kmbigquiz.co.uk and enter the code MED16 to receive a £10 discount.
