The precocious teddy is the author of the ‘Phil and Ted’s Excellent Adventures’ blog for children, where he chronicles his outings with best friend Phil Gallagher, who is the star of the hit CBeebies television show Mister Maker.

The little bear and Phil, Honorary Patron of the charity, are championing the KM Charity Team’s work with schools including its KM Walk to School initiatives and literacy scheme Buster’s Book Club.

For the latest blog Phil and Ted took to the streets in Canterbury to join Raphael, seven, Salem, six, Megan, seven, and Alice, seven, on their morning walk to St Peter’s Methodist School. Ted trumpeted the importance of exercising regularly although the cheeky scamp admitted he spent much of the walk in Phil’s coat pocket to keep warm.

The blog, which can be found at www.philandted.co.uk, is calling for photographs of children with their favourite teddy bear or other cuddly toy. The best pictures will feature on the blog and win a Build-A-Bear voucher.
