Firefighters had to extinguish a blaze caused by a 4X4 vehicle that was set alight in Mereworth last night. (Monday, July 29)
The vehicle was found in woods next to Swanton Road, close to the Beeches Restaurant on the neighbouring Seven Mile Lane.
Crews attended the scene at 7.55pm and spent 40 minutes tackling the fire.
Police were also in attendance as the cause of the fire is believed to be suspicious.
