This week marks Local Newspaper Week, and to celebrate the KM wants to hear from our loyal readers to tell us why they love Maidstone.

Maybe you love meeting up with friends in the town's diverse choice of bars, pubs, clubs, restaurants and cafes, after a day spent shopping.

Perhaps it's the rich and diverse history of the County Town that appeals to you, typified by architectural jewels such as The Archbishop's Palace.

Or is it the area's vibrant music scene, celebrated each year with the fantastic Fringe Festival? (pictured left)

While the KM has its office in the County Town, we are also hoping to hear what makes life great in Weald and Malling.

A local newspaper is nothing without its readers, which is why we are looking to you to tell us what makes this area special. We will then run some of your favourite things in Friday's paper.
