Two car crash on Ashford Road, Maidstone

Motorists in Maidstone faced delays after a crash this evening.

Two fire engines and an ambulance were called to Ashford Road in Maidstone shortly after 6.15pm.

A spokesman for the fire service said: "Crews are at the scene of a road crash on the Ashford Road outside Haynes of Maidstone and the Texaco garage.

"The collision is believed to involve two cars and paramedics are also in attendance."

Crews left the scene at around 7.20pm. The road has since cleared.

It is not known if anyone was injured.
