Maidstone dancer Lily Vincent-Frankland prepares to face 'those' judges in the Britain's Got Talent final

A Maidstone dancer with a 26-strong troupe is one of the Britain's Got Talent finalists.

Lily Vincent-Frankland, 21, who will be performing with her group The Addict Initiative.

Lily was the lead dancer in the group’s dark audition piece.

The former Maidstone Girls Grammar School pupil started dancing at Margaret Preedy Dance Studios, in the Tonbridge Road, when she was 14 and starred in a Hazlitt Youth Theatre production of Fame in 2011.

She said: “It has been really surreal being on the show and everyone at home is getting behind us. I’ve had a lot of messages from school friends.

“The competition is very difficult to call as there is such variety and other very strong dance acts - we are just happy to be in the final.

“We would love to perform our routine for the Queen. I think she would like it.”

The group, formed three years ago, will go up against eight acts in the final.

The show takes place on Saturday night.
