Yalding: Attempted murder probe launched after man stabbed in home

Detectives have launched an attempted murder investigation after a man was stabbed at his home.

Police received a report at around 3.30am that four men had broken into an address in Benover Road, Yalding, and assaulted a man in his 30s before leaving.

Officers and ambulance crews went to the scene where the victim was treated for stab wounds.

Two forensic teams are currently at the site off Benover Road and are focusing on a static caravan and mobile home.

Around half a dozen police officers are also searching the area.

He was then taken to a London hospital for further medical attention, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.

The offenders are black and in their 30s.

An unattended silver Mercedes car was later seized by officers in The Tail Race, Tovil Green near Maidstone in connection with the investigation.
