The announcement is part of a special tour of woodlands throughout the summer for the Forestry Commission's annual concert series Forest Live.
The group, who emerged from New York’s celebrated new wave scene, fronted by pop icon Deborah Harry, will be at Bedgebury on Saturday, June 22.
Special guests The Lightning Seeds will also be performing an acoustic set.
The forest gigs are renowned for their relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere.
Tickets priced £36 (subject to a booking fee) go on sale on Friday (December 7) at 9am. For details call the Forestry Commission box office on 03000 680400 or visit www.forestry.gov.uk/music
