One lane of the A229 in Maidstone, Fairmeadow closed due to a broken down van

One lane of a road in Maidstone has been closed due to a broken down van.

The second lane of the A229, Fairmeadow is closed causing delays for motorists during rush hour.

Kent County Council's Highways department is warning drivers to approach with caution and expect delays.

There are also delays on the A229, Loose Road heading in to the town centre.
