The town's link to the Big Brother house came to an end with the eviction of Callum Knell.

Viewers saw the former Maidstone Grammar School pupil voted out of the famous bungalow.

Callum later took to Twitter, praising his family for all their support, adding he was now back home.

"I came home to my family tonight. They make me feel like a winner," he tweeted on Sunday night.

Callum, 28, received the most nominations from his fellow housemates and it was the third time he has faced the public vote.

The trained lifeguard, who worked at Maidstone Leisure Centre, was up against Dexter Koh, Hazel O’Sullivan and twins Jack and Joe Glenny.
