Campervan driver injured in lorry collision

A man is in hospital and road closures have been enforced after a lorry overturned and hit a campervan at Harrietsham.

Police say the lorry got stuck beneath a railway bridge on the A20, at 1.30pm, then overturned and collided with the campervan.

The driver of the campervan was taken to hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life threatening; while the lorry driver sustained only minor injuries.

Police have closed the road at Church Lane and advise drivers to stay away from the area or expect long delays.

The lorry is thought to contain food produce.

Network Rail has been informed, but there is currently no change to their services.
