Maidstone: Emergency crews rush to Travelodge hotel off St Peter's Street over 'concerns for woman's welfare'

Emergency services rushed to a Maidstone hotel after concerns were raised over a woman's welfare.

Police were called at 2.05pm today to the Travelodge hotel off St Peter's Street in the centre of town.

A spokesperson said: "Officers are currently at the scene along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service. Enquiries are ongoing."

There was one police car and one paramedic vehicle still at the scene at 5pm.

The hotel declined to comment on the incident when approached.
