Police seize 41 wraps of suspected crack cocaine from stolen car

A plain clothed police officer has helped take more than 40 wraps of suspected crack cocaine off Maidstone's streets.

The officer spotted a suspicious car in Mote Road at around 1.10pm on Wednesday.

Two men were arrested after the car pulled up outside a shop and further officers arrived.

Police seized 41 wraps of suspected crack cocaine as well as the car, which had been reported stolen in Birmingham.

Investigations took officers to an address in Snodland, where police seized more suspected cocaine along with cash and another suspected stolen vehicle.

Courtney Graham, 18, from Birmingham was charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to supply along with 31-year-old Kenny Martin, of no fixed address.

Mr Graham was also charged with driving without a licence, driving without insurance and handling stolen goods.

Both appeared before Maidstone magistrates on Friday, where Mr Graham was released on bail.

He will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, July 13.

Mr Martin will appear again at a later date which is yet to be confirmed.
