Emergency crews were called to the scene of a crash in Maidstone this afternoon.

The accident happened at 1.20pm on the A274 Sutton Road near Morrisons at the junction with Darwin Avenue.

Workers from Kent County Council were also called with an oil spillage in the road.

Paramedics were also called to the scene but it is not yet known if anyone was injured.

The carriageway has now been cleared and traffic is moving again.
