Wateringbury: Crews spent an hour and a half tackling a fire in Old Road

Crews spent an hour and a half tackling a fire which broke out in a Wateringbury home.

Firefighters were called to Old Road just before 4.30pm yesterday.

The fire was located on the ground floor and crews in breathing apparatus used a hose reel to put out the flames.

Nobody is believed to have been injured.

The fire service left the scene at 6.10pm.
