Two taken to hospital after accident and lane closure on A249 Detling Hill

Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash on the A249 Detling Hill.

Lanes are now open after one was closed on the Sittingbourne-bound carriageway.

Emergency services were called at 11am and two ambulances were sent to the scene.

Two patients were taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital. Their injuries are understood not to be life threatening.

The incident was next to the Detling Showground and in the direction of Sittingbourne. Police and ambulance crews remain at the scene.

UK Power Networks engineers went to the site of the crash to deal with fallen cables after a telegraph pole was damaged.
