Police are at the scene of a crash on a key route linking Maidstone and Aylesford.

The crash happened at just before midday on Hermitage Lane near Oakapple Lane and involved two vehicles.

A person was injured and was treated by Secamb - though it is not yet known if he was taken to hospital.

The road was closed in order to recover a vehicle but was clear by 1.10pm.
