Car crash in Norwich Avenue, Tonbridge puts elderly couple in hospital

An elderly couple were taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Tonbridge yesterday.

An air ambulance, paramedics and police were called to Norwich Avenue at 5.15pm after the collision, which involved a Ford Focus.

A 73-year-old man was taken to Pembury hospital by land ambulance with neck and arm injuries.

A 64-year-old woman was taken to King’s College Hospital head, leg and chest injuries.
