Maidstone: Emergency services respond to incident in town centre

Crews responded to an emergency in Maidstone town centre.

An ambulance and responder car were called to the Chequers bus station this afternoon.

It's believed paramedics treated someone on a bus.

A spokesman for Secamb said: "We were called to Chequers Bus Station in Maidstone around 2.35pm on Wednesday, to reports a person had collapsed on a bus.

"They came round while paramedics were at the scene, and were taken to Maidstone Hospital for further treatment."
