Two vehicles have crashed at a busy junction.

A car landed on its side after hitting a lamp post on a roundabout at the bottom of Detling Hill.

It is believed a lorry then struck the same lamp post on the Maidstone-bound carriageway, while trying to avoid the car.

Kent Fire and Rescue were called to the scene, at junction 7 of the M20, just before 12.40pm and made the area safe for passing motorists.

No injuries have been reported.
