Maidstone: Emergency repairs to fix damaged manhole cover in Willington Street

Temporary traffic lights have been put in place while workers begin repairing a damaged manhole cover close to a town centre.

Lights are in place on Willington Street at the junction with Madginford Road to allow Kent County Council Highways to carry out the emergency repair work.

The works, which began at around 11.30am, are expected to be completed later this afternoon.
