Fire crews called to Maidstone High Street fire

Kent's fire service has described a call out to Maidstone town centre as a "false alarm".

Crews arrived in High Street at around 4.30pm on Thursday, entering Blow Garden salon.

Eyewitnesses saw smoke leaving a vent on the outside of a property, while people in neighbouring properties could also smell burning.
