Maidstone: Sale of tickets for Heart of Kent Hospice charter of the Orient Express's sister train, the Belmond British Pullman

The Orient Express's sister train, the Belmond British Pullman is returning to Maidstone this year.

And passengers buying today are on track to get cheaper fares, with tickets available at a special reduced rate.

The once-in-a-lifetime experience involves a gala luncheon on the iconic train, which is leaving Maidstone East station on Saturday, May 7.

Diners have the chance to sit back and enjoy a four-course lunch with a bottle of wine per couple on board the art deco train, with waiter service.

It is being chartered for 220 guests, exclusively for the Heart of Kent Hospice, and ticket sales will help support the charity.

Until 1pm today tickets will be reduced by £50 to £275.
