Bow Hill in Wateringbury is left littered with rubbish by thoughtless fly tippers

Fly tippers dumped household waste on a rural road yesterday evening.

Furniture, sandbags and fence panels were left in both lanes of Bow Hill, in Wateringbury.

The rubbish was reported to Maidstone Borough Council yesterday evening and a spokesman confirmed it had been removed this morning.

A witness, who did not want to be named, said: "It looks like they were dumped in the road and a passerby has split them like Moses and the Red Sea."
