Three men remanded in custody following mass brawl in Hook Lane, Hucking, and will appear at Maidstone Crown Court this month

Three men have been remanded in custody following a mass brawl last week.

Joseph King, 20 and of New Road in Ditton, is accused of causing three counts of grievous bodily harm with intent and one count of violent disorder.

Another Joseph King, who is 38 and also of New Road in Ditton, has also been charged with three counts of GBH and one of violent disorder.

Daniel King, 18 and also of New Road in Ditton, will answer one charge of violent disorder.

They will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday, December 19 after appearing via video link at Medway Magistrates' Court this morning.

A further two men have been bailed until next year after being arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

A 24-year-old Maidstone man has been bailed until Friday, January 16 and a 35-year-old man from Ditton has been bailed until Tuesday, January 20.

A 49-year-old man from Maidstone has been released without charge.

On Saturday a 19-year-old man and woman were also released without charge,

The brawl happened on Tuesday, November 25 in Hook Lane, Hucking.

The violence started at around 11pm and police arrested four people on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.

Officers were also searching an address in Stockett Lane in Coxheath and Nursery Road in Ditton.

All those involved in the incident are believed to be known to each other.
