A four car collision on the M20 left several people in need of hospital treatment.

The vehicles came together on the London-bound carriageway between junctions eight and nine at about 11.40pm on Saturday.

They are believed to be a Nissan, an Alfa Romeo, a Ford Focus and a Ford Mondeo.

Paramedics took the injured, who had back and neck injuries, to the William Harvey Hospital.

None are thought to be serious.
