Lenham: Eight people charged with aggravated burglary and grievous bodily harm following suspected armed robbery in Forstal Road

A further four people have been charged in connection with a suspected armed robbery in Lenham.

A police investigation began after raiders targeted a property in Forstal Road at 11.40pm on Tuesday, April 26.

A total of eight men have now been charged and remanded in custody, each with three counts of aggravated burglary and one count of grievous bodily harm.

They are all scheduled to appear at Maidstone Crown Court between July and October.

They include Jake Jenks, 22, from Allan Close in Tunbridge Wells; Vincent Stickings, 29, from Thamesmead; Nyake Alieu, 31, from Seaford; Lee Baker, 23, from Eastbourne; homeless Conner Miller, 20; Nana Danquah, 31, from Potters Bar and Aaron Mayers, 31, from South Hackney.

Darren Myers, 30 of Valley Road in Tunbridge Wells has also been charged with possessing a prohibited firearm and possessing a firearm when banned from doing so for life.

Two further men were arrested - a 29-year-old from Stoke Newington who is on bail until June 29 and a 21-year-old man from Brentwood who is on bail until August 16.
